Welcome to my Scholastic, Inc. page! I've had the pleasure of handling a number of Scholastic's licensed properties ranging from Hamtaro to the Teen Titans. I've done covers, interiors, poster and display materials and even coloring books. Please review the following samples that not only show my creativity but also my versatility in handing a variety of visual styles while keeping all characters "on model." Impossible Islands Cover

Here is the cover for Samurai Jack: Journey to the Impossible Islands, a full-color chapter book. The only piece I ever used a pen-name on, J.V. Lehn (pronounced like Lane) in honor of my Grandpa.

HAMTARO: Bijou's Big Adventure

An interior piece for a Hamtaro picture book. This one was interesting because the revision notes were in Japanese, straight from the animation studio.
